Description:  Pewter pendant featuring the engraved Inguz rune, made for us by St Justin in Cornwall (UK). The alloy, 92% tin completed with copper and antimony, gives it strength. It comes with a 68 cm waxed leather cord with an adjustable sliding double knot, along with the official box and an explanatory certificate (in English). It belongs to the oldest runic series, the 24 Norse letters used by the ancient Vikings both for writing and for divination. The traditional meaning of Inguz is the god Ing, or the hero god. It is a rune of fertility, and we can almost see a resemblance to the DNA chain. In this sense, Inguz is also seen as a rune of offspring, representing inherited genes, and the "child of" Inguz often appears in a reading to indicate the end of one cycle and the passage to the next. It signifies your need to complete a cycle, and offers the strength required to do so. Finishing projects and clarifying your mental state is now absolutely necessary, because the ground must be fertilized before new growth can occur. When one cycle comes to an end, a new beginning always follows, and Inguz marks a time of joy and passage to a new life. If your past has been marked by obstacles, Inguz represents the solution, and you may experience liberation from old burdens such as anxiety and tension. Inguz can also indicate that the time has come to leave the past behind. Old behaviours and beliefs may have no place in this new life, and Inguz advises leaving them behind. Inguz is a positive rune, and receiving it is a sign of a fortunate outcome. It often serves as a precursor to major life events, such as the birth of a child, a new job, or a new romantic interest. Its presence means you are on the threshold of new beginnings. Inguz is only received upright. As with zodiac signs, with some approximation, you can choose your rune according to your birth period, or by looking for the meaning that best suits you or the person you wish to give it to, an original gift for anyone who loves the mysterious charm of the ancient Celtic and Norse runes.
