Description: Pewter pendant featuring the engraved Odin rune, made for us by St Justin in Cornwall (UK). The alloy, 92% tin completed with copper and antimony, gives it strength. It comes with a 68 cm waxed leather cord with an adjustable sliding double knot, along with the official box and an explanatory certificate (in English). It belongs to the oldest runic series, the 24 Norse letters used by the ancient Vikings both for writing and for divination. Blank and white, the end and the beginning, this is the rune of total trust and should be regarded as the stirring experience of true destiny, or fate, which endlessly regenerates itself like the phoenix from its own ashes. The blank rune foretells a symbolic death and alludes to an aspect of the life being led, the relinquishing of control. Here, the unknowable makes itself known about what is in motion in life, and within this blankness lies pure potential, which, both dense and empty at once, encompasses the totality of being, everything yet to be fulfilled. Where instead there are matters hidden by the gods, remember that what is calling and inviting you with a gesture is the creative power of the unknown. Drawing the blank rune brings the deepest fears to the surface, but also the highest good, the truest possibilities and all constructive dreams are enclosed within that blankness. Goodwill and tolerance are the qualities of this rune, after all, one cannot control what has not yet taken form. The blank rune calls for an act of courage, a leap into the dark, a request for faith. It represents the path of evolution, the total sum of actions and their consequences. At the same time, the blank rune teaches that many ancient obligations change and evolve, just as we change and evolve. Nothing is predestined, the obstacles along the path can become gateways to new beginnings. Drawing the blank rune indicates the progress of change. Unlike the others, this rune is not tied to any period of the year, its origins remain mysterious and have no certain historical confirmation, an original gift for anyone who loves the mysterious charm of the ancient Celtic and Norse runes.
