Description:  Pewter pendant featuring the engraved Gebo rune, made for us by St Justin in Cornwall (UK). The alloy, 92% tin completed with copper and antimony, gives it strength. It comes with a 68 cm waxed leather cord with an adjustable sliding double knot, along with the official box and an explanatory certificate (in English). It belongs to the oldest runic series, the 24 Norse letters used by the ancient Vikings both for writing and for divination. Gebo traditionally means "gift". The equal and opposite forces we see united in Gebo represent their reconciliation and integration. Its meaning is: to give, to receive, and to maintain balance. Usually, the appearance of Gebo is a message of success. You must be grateful while remaining mindful of the responsibilities it entails. In matters of romantic relationships, it can indicate the beginning of a new relationship, an engagement, a marriage. It may also appear to remind a couple that their union is a gift. The relationship is held together by two unique entities, it is sacred, and it leads to growth. Recognizing and honouring these differences is of incredible importance in keeping these two energies united and balanced. In work matters, the meaning is the same, it indicates a new relationship or the strengthening of a union through legal recognition. In both cases, it is also important to consider the meaning of boundaries, those boundaries that must be respected in order to keep the forces in balance. On a spiritual level, Gebo represents the mystical union of the self with higher consciousness. Through the complete submission of the ego, the greatest gift is achieved, the unity of the self. Gebo is only received upright. As with zodiac signs, with some approximation, you can choose your rune according to your birth period, or by looking for the meaning that best suits you or the person you wish to give it to, an original gift for anyone who loves the mysterious charm of the ancient Celtic and Norse runes.
