Miss Mindy
Miss Mindy creates in her home studio in Eagle Rock, California, with her husband artist Rick O'Brien and their bilingual circus dog "Radio". With a lot of luck, Miss Mindy was born into a family of artists and designers with a big heart. His greatest inspiration was his grandmother Mary, who worked at Disney in the 1930s in Snow White and Pinocchio, wore bright red lipstick and tiny polyester dresses. "Cartoon Folk Art" is the way to best describe his work, due to the old atmosphere, big eyes and exaggerated proportions. She was very inspired by Betty Boop's 80s Anime, Disney and Max Fleisher cartoons in her life as a young artist. With a constant diet based on honeycomb cereals and Robotech, her summers were full of chills with story drawings and the creation of character drawings as if she had worked in a large studio. Later on the way, Miss Mindy ended up working in animation as a prolific professional artist for over a decade and continues to make special projects for studios like Nickelodeon, WildBrain, Warner Brothers and Cartoon Network. In addition to Animation, Miss Mindy has also created illustrations and products for Mattel, Hard Rock coffee, Zippo, as well as two books written and illustrated with Baby Tattoo Books Publishing. He recently designed his vinyl toy line with Disney Vinylmation and has just released his big secret project that is getting ready in the land of toys ... The World of Miss Mindy / Disney Showcase Designer Vinyls! Currently, Miss Mindy spends most of her time creating beautiful works of art with fluid ink and acrylic paints. He lives like an elf, dreams of new stickers and toys.
