Rachel Anderson
Rachel Anderson has been fascinated by the world of fantasy since she was a child, when her parents started reading books like Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz to her. Since then his imagination has been incurably hyperactive. At an early age he started trying to bring all the characters and stories into his head, putting them on paper. But only in 2004 did she really start learning the basics and improve her skills to become a professional artist. Fascinated by the spiritual realm - as it could be if we could see it and so on - nor was she greatly influenced in her art. He loves nature and all the beauty that lives inside. The idea that there is an invisible world of magical creatures that are interconnected with nature and that suffer if we do harm is of great inspiration for his work. It was also heavily inspired by early-century illustrators such as Arthur Rackham; Pre-Raphaelite, neoclassical and romantic like Waterhouse and Bouguereau; styles like Art Nouveau; and modern fantasy artists such as Brian Froud and Kinuko Craft.
