Description:  Pewter pendant featuring the engraved Wunjo rune, made for us by St Justin in Cornwall (UK). The alloy, 92% tin completed with copper and antimony, gives it strength. It comes with a 68 cm waxed leather cord with an adjustable sliding double knot, along with the official box and an explanatory certificate (in English). It belongs to the oldest runic series, the 24 Norse letters used by the ancient Vikings both for writing and for divination. The principal god associated with this rune is Wodan or Odin, and Wunjo represents his nature as the one who fulfils desires. Its traditional meaning is "perfection", although many associations derive from the German word "wonne", meaning joy. Receiving Wunjo in a reading is a positive sign that often brings great joy, the fulfilment of desires, and great energy. Wunjo is a rune of well-being and indicates that the necessary changes have taken place and you are now free to receive the reward. Realigning with the self may lead you to give up old projects and ambitions, and Wunjo advises doing so. Wunjo, like Kaunaz, also presides over relationships that involve creative abilities. For artists and those with such gifts, Wunjo often expresses a moment of great inspiration and joy in their work. A reversed Wunjo usually indicates the inaccessibility of the desired success or of your emotional well-being. You may feel a crisis marked by much unhappiness. The surrounding runes will give you some help in discovering the area of the problem. In all cases, reversed Wunjo advises being cautious and avoiding major decisions, calling instead for consideration and reflection. As with zodiac signs, with some approximation, you can choose your rune according to your birth period, or by looking for the meaning that best suits you or the person you wish to give it to, an original gift for anyone who loves the mysterious charm of the ancient Celtic and Norse runes.
