Description:  Pewter pendant featuring the engraved Mannaz rune, made for us by St Justin in Cornwall (UK). The alloy, 92% tin completed with copper and antimony, gives it strength. It comes with a 68 cm waxed leather cord with an adjustable sliding double knot, along with the official box and an explanatory certificate (in English). It belongs to the oldest runic series, the 24 Norse letters used by the ancient Vikings both for writing and for divination. The traditional meaning of Mannaz is "man" in the sense of humankind. It is about being with yourself and understanding yourself, the point from which all other relationships can develop. At the same time, this rune speaks of the forebears of humankind and the heritage we all share. The key to Mannaz is the nature of human interdependence. People who share an environment are connected and depend on one another. This rune symbolizes the cooperative effort people make to achieve a common good. Upright, Mannaz often indicates that you will receive cooperation and good advice regarding the current problem. Receiving Mannaz can also indicate that you are too absorbed in the current problem, to the point of blowing it out of proportion. If this is the case, it is time to seek honest outside help. Modesty, patience and devotion are advised. Seeking recognition or focusing on success is probably not beneficial for now. Instead, for the good of the project, it is beneficial simply to carry it out. Reversed, Mannaz usually indicates that in the current situation you are alone, and cooperative help from others is not available. This interference may have been caused by an individual, a group, or from within yourself. Mannaz calls on you to try to identify your true enemy at this time. The external enemy is often only a reflection of what we dislike, cannot, or do not want to accept about ourselves. As with zodiac signs, with some approximation, you can choose your rune according to your birth period, or by looking for the meaning that best suits you or the person you wish to give it to, an original gift for anyone who loves the mysterious charm of the ancient Celtic and Norse runes.
