Description:  Greetings card by the English artist Charlotte Bird, a photographer and illustrator with a classic Victorian, British style: her fairies are almost always little girls, photographed and set within painted or watercolour scenes. The Reluctant Bather: a little fairy with a flower crown in her hair and transparent wings sits on the edge of an old bathtub decorated with orange flowers, wearing a sulky expression with one arm raised above her head. Around her float soap bubbles and sparkles, with a curious kitten at the bottom left, two pink soap bars and a small sailing boat on the right. A playful, charming card, a fitting gift for anyone who loves Victorian aesthetics and fairies.
